The writing

Essays published here are the copyright of The Boundless Era or their named authors. Quote them, cite them and link to them freely — that is what they are for. Republishing a piece in full, or using it to train a commercial model, needs permission first.

Tickets

A ticket admits one person to one event. It is transferable — send the link to whoever is coming instead of you, and they can add their own name.

Refunds are available up to seven days before an event unless the event page says otherwise. If we cancel or move an event, you get a full refund or a place at the new date, whichever you prefer.

Rooms are small and we may occasionally need to change a venue, a speaker or the running order. We will always tell ticket holders by email when that happens.

Behaviour at events

These are rooms built for disagreement, which only works if people are decent to each other. We reserve the right to refuse or revoke admission, with a refund, if someone makes that impossible.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe and are subject to their terms. Prices are shown in the currency stated on the event page and include any applicable tax unless stated otherwise.

The site itself

We try to keep everything accurate and available, but the site is provided as it is. We are not liable for indirect losses arising from its use. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury or fraud, which cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
